“Three of us bow hunted whitetail deer with Ed Barton, B& C Kansas Hunts, in November 2015 and we all agreed that our hunt was terrific. Ed came highly recommended and certainly didn’t disappoint. From the minute we booked our hunt we knew we were in good hands. Being from out of state, Ed walked us through every phase of planning for a successful hunt; from obtaining our licenses and permits, to equipment needs, to preparing us for the method of hunting, what to expect on our five day hunt, and of course, the all-important follow up on skinning/caping and antler prep for mounting of our trophies, as well as taking us to the local butcher for deer processing.
In addition to being very knowledgeable of his hunting territory and whitetail deer population, Ed places his stands in locations to take full advantage of deer movement in his hunting area. There are plenty of deer on Ed’s leases, and on our five day hunt, two of the three of us managed to take whitetail deer; my friend shot a nice 8 point buck , and I was fortunate to harvest a four and a half year old 10 point buck with nice mass. As Ed stated, (and all bow hunters know this ), if you’re willing to do your part; hunt all day, manage your scent, and limit movement, than in all likelihood an opportunity to harvest a trophy whitetail will present itself. And of course, you’ll find clean comfortable lodging, tasty hearty meals, and most importantly a sense of camaraderie and friendship (with both Ed and Jerry) that’s unsurpassed.

“I have been hunting with Ed at B&C Kansas Hunts every year for past 7 years. I go with the same group of guys on the same week every year. We look forward to it every year more than any other hunting trip. Every year that I have been bow hunting there I’ve had an opportunity to shoot a P&Y deer or better.
